Publication Ethics
MEUC Journal of Biomedical and Life Sciences is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity. The journal follows transparent editorial practices to ensure that all submitted manuscripts are evaluated fairly, objectively, and in accordance with internationally accepted ethical principles in scholarly publishing.
Authors are responsible for submitting original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere. All sources, data, and contributions must be properly acknowledged. Any form of plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, or inappropriate authorship is considered unethical and may lead to rejection or withdrawal of the manuscript.
The editorial team ensures that manuscripts are assessed based on their scientific merit, relevance, originality, methodology, and clarity, without discrimination related to nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, religion, or political views. Editors are required to maintain confidentiality and avoid any conflicts of interest during the editorial process.
Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, unbiased, and timely evaluations. They must treat manuscripts as confidential documents and should decline the review if a conflict of interest exists or if the manuscript falls outside their field of expertise.
In studies involving human participants, animals, or clinical samples, authors must confirm that ethical approval was obtained from an appropriate institutional committee, where applicable. Informed consent should be secured when required, and all research must comply with relevant ethical and legal standards.
The journal reserves the right to investigate ethical concerns before or after publication. When necessary, corrective actions may include requesting clarifications, publishing corrections, issuing expressions of concern, or retracting published articles in accordance with recognized publication ethics practices.
